About DAIKIN Manufacturing
Daikin Industries, Ltd. traces its origins back to 1924, when Akira Yamada founded Osaka Kinzoku Kogyosho Ltd. in Osaka, Japan. In its early years, the company specialized in manufacturing components for the aviation and metal industries. By the 1930s, however, it had already begun pioneering work in refrigerant technologies, as well as solutions supporting the food and beverage, agricultural, industrial machinery, and metals and alloys sectors, laying the foundation for its future global expansion.
In 1963, the company officially adopted the name Daikin Industries, Ltd. Over the following decades, Daikin achieved a series of major technological milestones—from the development of compact compressors and advanced air-conditioning systems to the introduction of the revolutionary Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV) System in 1982. Launched in the Japanese market, this innovation significantly transformed energy-efficiency standards for commercial buildings worldwide.
Today, Daikin stands as a globally respected leader and one of the world’s largest manufacturers of refrigerants and advanced industrial solutions, serving sectors such as food and beverage processing, agriculture, industrial machinery, and metals and alloys. The company is widely recognized for combining Japanese engineering precision, continuous innovation, and strong environmental responsibility.
Notably, Daikin remains the only manufacturer in the industry that develops both its equipment and refrigerants entirely in-house. This integrated approach allows the company to set global standards for efficiency, sustainability, and technological advancement across industrial and food-related applications.
Why Global Partners Choose Us
Absolute Quality Assurance
We mitigate product risk entirely. DAIKIN Manufacturing does not rely on self-certification; we mandate rigorous, independent pre-shipment inspections by elite global validation bodies like SGS, Bureau Veritas, and Intertek to verify weight, grade, and chemical composition before any cargo leaves the port.
Risk Management & Trade Finance
International trade requires ironclad financial security. We mitigate counterparty risk by operating strictly under structured international banking instruments, primarily relying on Irrevocable, Confirmed Letters of Credit (L/C) and Standby Letters of Credit (SBLC).
